Winter may still be lingering at the edges of the map, but the adventurous pulse of Ingress Agents is already turning toward spring. This March, Southern Indiana calls us to Madison—a river-kissed jewel often whispered about as the prettiest small town in Indiana.

Historic streets, layered stories, and the shimmering presence of one of the largest National Historic Landmark Districts in the United States create the perfect terrain for exploration, strategy, and a little beautiful chaos in the portal network. Think cobblestone echoes, Ohio River light, and XM drifting through 19th-century architecture like it has always belonged there.
We assemble at 1:00 PM near the courthouse for the traditional agent photo—faces, factions, and futures captured in a single frame. From there, the afternoon unfolds in true #IngressFS fashion: hacking, linking, fielding, and wandering through Madison’s historic heart.
At 3:30 PM, we regroup at Off Broadway Taproom for the rituals that matter just as much as the stats—agent recognition, shared stories, food, laughter, and the quiet satisfaction of a map well played.
Because in the end, First Saturday isn’t only about territory. It’s about people, presence, and the strange magic that happens when Agents gather in the same place at the same time.
