It's Ingress First Saturday!

"Ingress First Saturdays are official Niantic-sanctioned events organized by Fev Games and run by local agents. They take place on the first Saturday of each month at locations all over the world. At a First Saturday event, local agents congregate to compete to gain the most AP and other metrics. Local organizers may provide additional objectives."

From 8am to 8pm local time, it's double AP. So even if you aren't attending an event it's a great day to head out and see where the XM leads you. With the +Delta Campaign still in action there's no better time to seize the weekend!

To qualify for the IFS badge tic, you'll need to be registered with FEV games. It's free, and it's not too late to get in on the action near you!
