#IngressFS - Champaign, IL, United States - February 2026

We'll be meeting up at the Esquire Lounge for a group photo at 1pm, playing there and throughout downtown and West Side Park until 3pm, when we'll meet up back at the Esquire for the restock portal and socializing. For the first time in more than a year and a half, Champaign, Illinois is once again hosting an Ingress First Saturday, and local Agents are opening the doors to the wider community. On Saturday, February 7, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM, players from both factions are invited to gather, play, and reconnect in person.

The official meetup location will be the Esquire Lounge with gameplay spreading outward through downtown Champaign, West Side Park, and the surrounding portal network. Registration is required and can be completed in advance at Fev Games.

#IngressFS remains one of the best ways to experience the game as it was always meant to be played: together.

Expect live, face-to-face Ingress action, boosted AP gains including double AP or four times AP with Apex, First Saturday badge credit, missions, passcodes, portal restocks, and plenty of opportunities to meet and socialize with fellow Agents you may only know as scanner names.

This February event also arrives with some timely incentives. Verified First Saturday participation awards 2,500 tokens toward the +Gamma season medal, enough for an instant Bronze and putting you within striking distance of Silver and Gold. Participation will also contribute points toward your faction’s score in the +Gamma anomaly, making every action during the event count beyond Champaign itself. And then there’s the unofficial motivation. Somewhere in a local inventory, a surplus of battle beacons is quietly waiting for a purpose. Should they find their way onto the map during #IngressFS, Agents may discover themselves fighting not just for medals and anomaly points, but for faction pride and well-earned bragging rights.
